Brand New Drop-in replacement idler wheel for Garrard Lab 80, Type A, A70, RC88 and other Garrard turntables using OEM part No 53883 or replacement part No 1479.

- Meets or exceeds OEM specification.
- Micron level tolerances provided by aerospace grade manufacturing equipment to ensure system concentricity and precision.
- Precision ground soft rubber tire made specifically for AudioVault for reduced vibration and rumble.
- Graphite filled custom made thrust washer with solid lubricant properties for extreme low friction and high wear resistance offering a smooth and quiet operation.
- SAE 841 oil impregnated sintered bronze bushing for low noise even in dry conditions.
- Drop-in replacement; simply remove the old idler wheel and replace with this one.
Combining this idler wheel with our platter bearing kit will improve two of the most influential mechanical noise sources and reduce low frequency rumble to its minimum.

I have many Garrards and spare idler wheels. This replaced my very best already-soft and already-true original idler on an “A70” which I use as a 78 player. Even in this scenario there was a measurable reduction in rumble, and an audible reduction when playing stereo LPs. Great product! Recommended!
